Beauty Secret Revealed: Marilyn Monroe

Yeap today I will be sharing some photos and beauty secrets from the all time  beauty queen,

MARILYN MONROE.

I am so envious of her great figure and flawless good looks. It so hard not to feel like shit when I look myself in the mirror. When I was much younger, I even tried to draw a mole on my face, just to copy her signature look.

And no doubt, I look even uglier with the fake mole.

And yes, I did my research and found a great website that states

1. She rinse her face fifteen times after every wash.

2. She smear olive oil over her face.

3. She used ice baths to keep her skin tight and firm.

Make-Up Advise: Applying Eyeliner on Oily Skin

This summer, I am crazy over pink lipstick & black eye liner.

I always have problem drawing my eyeliner, cos they always get SMUDGE due to my oily eye lids. And what I HATE most, is that I cannot draw them PRETTY. They always look unbalance.

So today I would like to share with you a little trick that SOLVE my problem!

TIP OF THE DAY: Do NOT apply make up right after you have applied your moisturizer.

That’s one reason why sometimes after putting on foundation, you realize it is not evenly blend, leaving some foundation to crease on certain area of your face.  Allow around 5 to 10 minutes for your skin to absorb the moisturizer before applying your concealer and foundation.

So now let me share with you the 4 simple steps to ensure your eyeliner does not crease or smudge.

1. Dap a small amount of loose powder on your eye lid area, so it will be easier for you to outline your eyeliner with an eye pencil without getting smudged.  For me, most of the time my eye pencil always gets “cleaned” away due to excess oil on my eye lid area. And I have to draw over and over again  to prevent such to happen. So if you have the same problem as me, you should find this VERY EFFECTIVE!

2. Grab your eyeliner pencil to outline your eye lid shape. I am terrible in drawing my eyeliner perfectly. So I use this “play cheat” method. Whenever I draw my eyeliner wrongly or terribly, I can simply rub it off easily with a tissue. My current eyeliner pencil is from MAKE UP FOR EVER PROFESSIONAL. I luv it very much cos it outlines easily and I don’t have to use much force. A few strokes required and I can have a very clear dark black outline.

* Please note, if you are a pro in drawing eye liner, you can skip the 2nd step.

3. Use a GOOD liquid eyeliner to draw over the pencil outline. Its very important to use a good quality eyeliner with a strong sharp tip. It will definitely help you to OUTLINE ACCURATELY! 4. THE FINAL TOUCH! Now your eyes are finely accentuated with black liquid eyeliner, use back the same black eye pencil to draw over the last time for the final touch up.
